DP, Millville   Homicidal Psycho Jungle Cat by Bill Watterson
Main Characters: Calvin, Hobbes, Mom, Dad, Susie.
The reason why I liked this book is because it's funny and entertaining. Another reason is because Hobbes (Calvin's stuffed animal) comes to life and likes to pounce on him. My favorite story in the book is when Calvin thinks he will win the poster contest but his enemy Susie wins instead. I recommend this book because it is appropriate for all age groups.
 AG, 8, Millville   Mcduff Moves In by Rosemary Wells and Susan Jeffers, .
I liked this book because it reminds me of my dog.  He was scratching at the doors and asking the people if he could live there. But he heard growling and hissing and he already knew they had pets and he was upset. I loved this story and you will too. 
 CS, Upper Deerfield   Now You See Me, Now You Don't by Tracey West.
This is about a girl that gets a necklace for her birthday. She turns invisible when she puts it on. This book is cool because you get to choose your own path as you read.
 EC, 8, Millville   Pokemon, The Haunted Gym by Tracey West.
One day Ash and his friends found a new town.  Ash wanted to find a gym.  Brock found one on a map.  Misty thought it looked spooky.  Then something really scary happened.  The whole gym was on fire.  Misty and Ash threw out Totedile and Staryu to fight the fire.  Totedile found out they weren't real flames by jumping into them.  They were really made up of 3 ghost Pokemon in the same evolution.  Read the book to see if Ash, Misty and Brock make it out okay with the 3 ghost Pokemon playing tricks on them.
 KV,8,Buena   Bookstore Cat by Cindy Wheeler.
A cat is the pet of an owner of a bookstore.  One day, he find out that they are having a story hour.  Instead of listening to the story, he watches a pigeon outside the window.  When someone comes in the door, the pigeon flies out and the cat can't help but chase it.  Exciting things happen then!

This book is about a girl named Libby Mitchell who's family is moving from Virginia to Michigan. They are traveling in a covered wagon. On the way, Libby's father meets an Indian who's daughter has the measles. Libby and her mother nurse the girl back to health and soon find their land. After they finish building their cabin, Libby's mother tells her a story about a girl who dreams of next spring comes an oriole.
 SB,9,Millville   Silver by Gloria Whelan.
This book is about a girl named Rachel, who's father is a dog sledder in the Iditorad. Rachel asks her father if she can have one of the dog's puppies. Rachel's father says she can have one of the smaller puppies. She names her puppy Silver. When Silver gets stolen by a mother wolf, it changes how Rachel thinks about her puppy.
 RRJ, Millville   Charlottes Web by E. B. White.
This storey is about a family pig named Wilber. At one point and time the family was thinking about making Wilber into bacon/pork. Wilber was scared until his friend Charlotte the spider saw him threw with her amazing web skills.
 AHi, Millville   On the Banks of Plum Creek by Laura Ingalls Wilder.
On the Banks of Plum Creek  is a great book. It is a book about a little girl named Laura. She was an adventurous girl. She liked to go to the creek with her Pa. Her life was exciting.
 SB, Millville   School Days by Laura Ingalls Wilder.
This book is about a family with Ma, Pa, Laura, Mary, and Carrie. School is starting soon and Laura and Carrie are very nervous. They learn that school can be fun especially at recess. When a terrible blizzard comes through town it takes hours to get home through fierce winds.
 AL, Bridgeton   A Life God Rewards by Bruce Wilkson.
It was  great and interesting. I learned a lot of things that God can reward.
 AM, 12, Millville   The Mystery of the Missing Tiger by Laura E. Williams.
The Mystery of the Missing Tiger is a story that involves you. Put your thinking cap on so you can help Jen and Zeke to figure out the mystery.
 IO, Millville   Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson.
This book had lots of rhymes and these rhymes made me left.
 AV, Millville   Have no Fear, Chuckie's Here! by Sarah Wilson.
I liked this book alot! It is about a toddler named Chuckie. He is always a scaredy cat! So one day he thought he was very brave for saving his sister from the zoo animals! But it turned out that he was so scared for himself he turned out to being brave. 
 KV,8, Buena   Star Wars Journey Through Space by Ryder Windham
This book takes you on a journey through space.  It takes you to the different Star Wars planets and explains about the people who live there.  If you are a Star Wars fan, you should read this because you will learn a lot.
 NT, Millville   Halloween with Morris and Boris by Bernard Wiseman.
This story is about Boris the bear and Morris the moose with Halloween. Boris is trying to tell Morris all about Halloween. The story is scary and funny.

Basketball: How to Play the All-Star Way by Tom Withers
 I learned lots of basketball tips. It tells you about famous players and lots of other stuff, too. Now I want to try and get in the all-stars.

Woodchucks

This book is about the little fuzzy creatures called groundhogs (woodchucks.)  One of the things I learned is that baby woodchucks don't open their eyes until they are three to four weeks old.  Did you know that groundhogs can run 10 mph?!  We have one that lives under our porch - we call him Buena Bill!

I Like Trains is a great book. It's all about TRAINS.
It also explains the different kinds of trains. Like freight trains and  passenger trains. Freight trains carry tank cars, hopper cars, and many special kinds of cars.
 AM,12, Millville   A Ghost in the House by Betty Ren Wright
A Ghost in the House is a story about Sarah and her Family. Sarah learns her aunt is coming to live with them. Her aunt also has a story that she finally tells Sarah. Read this book to find out more.
 SB, 9, Millville   Amazing Stories Behind Some Great Inventions by Don Wulffson
This book is has many great inventions and how they were created. Some of them were created on accident. My favorite invention was Twister, which was advertised by Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show. After that, toy stores were flooded with requests for the game.
 AM,12, Millville   Flying Free by Sharon Dennis Wyeth
Flying Free is about 9-year-old Corey and his undergrounf railroad adventure. Corey loves being free but will not be able to free his friends.
 NT, 10, Bridgeton   Swiss Family Robinson by Johann Wyss.
This book about a preacher, his wife and his four sons who are shipwrecked on an island with many different climates. This book tells about how they survive on the island.
