Gosh...what a book. Let me tell you about it.....Why not read some of the reviewed books?

SW, 9, Millville   Ripley's Believe It or Not Special Edition by Mary Packard.
This book has a lot of interesting facts that people won't believe. Some of them are cool, some are scary, some are gross. I really liked this book. It was fun to read.
KV, 8, Buena   The Right Dog for the Job by Dorothy Palent.
This book is about guide dogs and how they are trained.  It was about three golden retrievers.  I learned a lot about these dogs including how they have to be trained for about two years before they become guide dogs.  They are very calm and obedient.  Sometimes they almost seem human. You will like this book.
 JD, Seabrook   Hebrews by Paul.
Hebrews is one of 66 books in the bible. It has 13 chapters full of excitement and wisdom. It goes to show many points like how Jesus is above the angels. He was in heaven for thousands of years with him. 1:5 brings out how Jehovah has only said to Jesus and no other, "You are my son." He even told Jesus at 1:13 to, "Sit at my right hand." This is a very high possession. It further goes on to show many other points. I only talked about 4 of 13 chapters so why don't you find out what the rest says. Among young and old can truly benefit from this book. I know, because I sure did.
NT, 11, Bridgeton   Medicine by Steve Parker.
This is a good book about medicine.
KV, Buena   Amelia Bedelia Helps Out by Peggy Parish
Amelia Bedelia goes to Miss Emma's house to help with the housework and garden and everyone knows how Amelia Bedelia is - except her!  As usual, everything gets mixed up. Her niece, Effie Lou helps too, but she thinks just like Amelia Bedelia.  This is not my favorite Amelia Bedelia book.
KV,8,Buena   Amelia Bedelia Goes Camping  by Peggy Parish
Amelia Bedelia and the Rogers go camping, and once again, Amelia gets things confused. It is one of the best Amelia Bedelia's that I have read.  But when you go camping,
don't take Amelia with you!

WG, Millville   You Will Live Under the Sea by F. and M. Phleger
This book is very interesting. It starts true, but then gets a little fantasy-like.The first line is "Every year the land gets more and more crowded,"  which is true.  But the rest isn't. Living in homes under the sea, mining under the sea, farming under the sea. Can you believe it?

NT, 10, Bridgeton   Captain Underpants and the Wrath of the Wicked Wegie Woman By Dav Pilkey.
This was a very interesting book about two kids and this guy who runs around in his underpants. His real

In Part 2, George and Harold go back in time to find the Combine-O-Tron 2000, but Miss Singerbrains takes it away from them to give it to the police. There is a pterodactyl, a space shuttle, and robots in this book.  It is one of the best Captain Underpants books, in my opinion.  It is very easy to read because it is so funny.
WG, Millville   The Hallo-Wiener by Dav Pilkey
This book takes place on Halloween night, thus the title. It was quite funny. The main dog in this story is a Dachshund named Oscar. In the beginning the other dogs called him "Wiener Dog", and at the end they called him "Hero Sandwich." They changed what they called him, because of what happened that night when they went past a graveyard. They were chased by a "monster" from the graveyard. (The "monster" was actually two cats on top of each other with a piece of black cloth over them.) They were chased into the pond by the "monster," and Oscar saved them from the "monster" by pulling the cloth off of the cats and scaring the cats away. Then he jumped into the pond and all the other dogs got on top of him and he dog-paddled them all to shore. I enjoyed the book.

KV,8,Buena   Jigsaw Jones: The Case of the Stinky Science Project by James Preller.
When Jigsaw tries to get 4 year old Sally's money back, he discovers he has to solve both the mystery of the sticky volcano and how to get Sally's money back.  Things got messy, but they do get solved.  On a scale of 1-5(best), I'd give it a 3.
