 DP,Millville   More Perfect than the Moon by Patricia Maclachlan
Main Characters:  Cassie Mama, Papa, Grandpa, Caleb. Anna, Goose, Gooslings.
Cassie likes to write in her journal. She lives on a farm with her family. Her parents tell her that they are going to have a baby. She imagines the baby as ugly and mean. She discovers the child more perfect than the moon. I recommend this book because it is very realistic.
KV, 8, Buena   Barbie: Fairytopia: Mermadia by Mary Man-Kong
A fairy named Elina just got her wings. She learns that an evil fairy had captured the Prince of the Merpeople. Will she be able to help, even though she can’t swim? This book reminds me of some other fairy tales that I have read before.
 KV,8, Buena   Too Big! by Claire Mansierel
A little boy goes to a fair and wins a really big blue and white dinosaur.  He names him Tex.  It is too big to take with him everwhere even though it becomes the little boy's favorite stuffed animal.  When the boy gets sick, only Tex steps in to help him feel better.  I love this book.  I have read it many, many times. Tex is so cool.

One morning Kate and Mickey were getting ready to go to a parade.They couldn't start the parde until Mr. Featherspoon got there, but nobody could find him.  Where was he????
 CH, Millville   Wolverines by Sandra Markle
It was a nice book. The baby wolverines were very cute. Some of the pictures were gross.
 LD, 8, Fairton   Karen's Candy by Ann M. Martin.
The story was about a candy contest and a Halloween parade. They got the candy from Polly's Fine Candy.  Karen hit Pamela in the face. They had to go to the principal's office. They were taken out of the parade. But did Karen win the candy contest??? Read to find out.
 KV, 9, Buena   Karen's Candy by Ann M. Martin.
In this book you find out how Kristy (the president of the Babysitters Club) gets the idea for starting the club. Mary Anne, her best friend, and Kristy are walking home together and they are talking about  how they had to baby sit someone. When she gets home there is pizza on the table, and she suddenly gets the idea for the club. By the end of the first week, they have made $58!  I can't wait to read the next one.

The Jedi COuncil tells Obi Wan to kill General Grevious.  After a battle, they chase each other through Utapau.  Near the end, Obi Wan drops his lightsaber, but Grevious still has his electro-stick.  Who will win?  I love Star Wars!
 NT, Millville   Da  Vinci by Joanne Mattern
I like the book because it is really easy to understand. The details are easy. I like the pictures, they are beautiful. I love how Joanne Mattern explained everything. You should read this book, too!
 NT, Millville   World's Most Terrifying "True" Ghost Stories by Arthur Mayer.
I liked this book because it is scary. It sounds like the stories are real because it tells the place, state and person's name. The pictures when I look at them I feel scared, it makes me not to look at them anymore. That's why I liked the book.
 SW, 7, Millville   Where is My Sneaker by Mercer Mayer.
I liked the book because there are little animals and insects to find on each page. What I didn't like is that he was only wearing one sneaker during the whole story.
 IO, Millville   One Monster After Another by Mercer Mayer.
Lucy Jane didn't know what she was talking about when she wrote the letter. A lot happened when the letter reached Sally Ann!.
 HM, Millville   Who Wants a Dragon by June Mayhew.
This books is about a little dragon. No one loves him. But someone does love him, his mommy.
 RRJ, Millville   The More, The Merrier by Anne Mazer.
Abby Hayes wants to have a party in the summer to celibrate "schools out." The only problem is her parents might not let her. She spends half the summer thinking on how to ask her parents. When they answer her yes another problem pops up. Everybody from school is going to want to see her room. She thinks her room is booring and dull. So she paints it purple, and everybody love her room. The party turns out 2 be HOT!

I Love It When You Smile  is about Roo who will not smile. He is going somewhere. But they end up in a mudpit, then he smiles. Read this book to find out more.

Princess Aurora remembers how she and Prince Phillip met.  They decide to surprise each other with ultra special gifts.  It has a happy ending!

Mickey and Goofy go on vacation only to be arrested and eaten by a giant hamster. Well, almost. Goofy loved the hamster. The hamster loved Goofy. Goofy, Mr. Nibbles (the hamster) and Mickey went home, only to find out there were no extra, extra, extra, extra, extra, extra, extra, extra, extra large T-shirts! Mr. Nibbles wasn't happy. This book is about how a little girl grows up to become a Kung Fu teacher.  When someone is town in robbed, she saves her. Later she teaches her Kung Fu so that the girl can earn her freedom.  This isn't just a book about Kung Fu or CHina.  It is a bout teachers and students. I liked it a lot.

This book is about a young girl who grows up to be an inventor. She liked to sketch machines in her notebook and then make them.

It was a very funny book. I liked it. Bugs Bunny's friends were making a garden. They wanted Bugs to take care of the carrot patch, and he was too lazy.

It is about a little pig who is really big. He thinks that he is still a baby. At the market, Pig Pig would squeal and cry loudly until his mother bought him whatever he wanted.

This book is about a big pig and a little pig on a summer day.  The little pig does whatever the big pig does.  They want to make a pool but separate pigs.  The little pig makes a bigger pool than the big pig.  The big pig is making a pool that his feet can't even fit in.  The little pig can have toys in his.  But the big pig can't.

 It is about a dog named Martha who loves to talk.  One day when the new owner of the soup company takes out some of the letters in the alphabet soup, Martha talks funny.  Read on to see if Martha can talk right again

This was the first book about how Martha the dog begins to speak.  It is really funny because all she does is talk, talk, talk.  I read this book to a sheep dog names Ziggy and he fell asleep.
AH, Millville   Bassett Hounds by Cari Meister
I love this book because I Like Basset Hounds. I can't believe they are the best show dogs.

The Princess Diaries: Anastasia: The Last Grand Duchess by Carol Meyer.
This book is supposed to be the diary of Anastasia, a princess who lived in Russia in the early 1900’s.  I loved it.  I couldn’t put it down.  It is kind of fun to read someone’s diary.  I also learned a lot about Russian history and the disease hemophilia that Anastasia’s brother had.  I liked it so much, I am reading another book in this diary series.

KV,8,Buena   Creatures of the Night by Joyce Milton
This book was about how bats live, what they eat, and how to protect them.  It was a good "first" book, but I have read longer ones with more facts. I wouldn't read it at night, though it might give you nightmares.

Zoo in the Sky
is a lot of animals like Great Bear, the Scorpion, Leo the Lion, the Great Dog Fishes and they are happy because they won't be eaten by other fish cause they are stars, and a whale and a long dragon and thats the whole zoo.

I think this book is great. I never seen a boy who helped his mother.
KV,8, Buena   Mama had a Dancing Heart by Libba Moore
A little girl is remembering what her mama told her about dancing.  Through all four of the seasons, they would dance outside celebrating.   If you take dance class, you will like this book.

I am really interested in astronomy.  After I saw this book at the book sale, I had to buy it.  I learned a lot of things including how a comet orbits the sun.  It has a lot of information and pictures.

NT, Millville   Lazy Jack and the Silent by Mitchell Motomora
I liked this story because I liked Lazy Jack because he never did any work at all and I learned from this story that you should always do a little bit of work.
KV, 8, Buena   The Old Man and The Afternoon Cat by Michaela Muntean
An old man was very grumpy.  The only thing that made him happy is a stray cat.  I recommend it to anyone who likes cat stories. It made me fell happy, cuddly, and a little sad.
