Gosh...what a book. Let me tell you about it.....Why not read some of the reviewed books?

JW, 10, Millville   Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh
Harriet is a girl who always writes in her notebook. When her friends at school find out the notebook contains mean things about them, she finds herself without friends at school and soon her nurse Old Golly moves away and she finds herself all alone and she does not know what to do.
KV, 8, Buena   How the Leopard Got His Spots by Justine and Ron Fontes
The book has different stories about how the leopard got his spots. In one story, two lion cubs see Indians (from India) painting themselves, so they decide to put dots on each other.  By accident, one pours the whole bucket on the other. When they get home, they are not allowed in because the mother thinks they are different animals.  I loved this book.
AHi, 9, Millville   Scamp to the Rescue by Wangels Forlag
Scamp to the rescue is a very good book. It's about four puppies. The three puppies were very graceful. The three puppies names were Fluffy Ruffy and Scooter. The other one was Scamp. But Scamp is different he jumps off and over small tables.
KV, 8, Buena   Stars of the Sea by Allan Fowler
This book is about sea stars and their relatives.  Sea stars are related to sea cucumbers and sand dolars.  To eat, they push their stomachs out of their mouths.  It has lots of pictures.
KV, 9, Buena   Halley's Comet by Dennis Fraden
This book is about the famous comet. It has many interesting facts like when it will return again (2061). I find it interesting that it doesn't look the same each time it returns  - sometimes the tail is really long and sometimes it is short. If you like learning about space, you'll like this book.
IO, Millville   Botts the Naughty Otter by Don Freeman.
Botts was not that naughty. He helped the beavers with their dam.
KM, Millville   A Pocket for Corduroy by Don Freeman.
A Pocket for Corduroy is about Corduroy and he don't have pockets. He goes to find something to make a pocket with. This is book is good.
