Application Policy
Library cards:
All applicants 18 years of age or older must
complete a CLUES (Salem County) application in person
and present, at time of application, a valid NJ driver's
license or NJ state ID that shows current Pennsville
street address. Post Office Box numbers are not
accepted.
Application includes applicant's full
name and address, phone number, e-mail address or one
reference with separate phone listing, gender, and date
of birth. Minors, 17 and under, must have
parent/legal guardian sign application and present valid
identification as required. Each applicant is
responsible for his/her own PIN number to access online
accounts.
Charges:
New CLUES (Salem County) library card: $1.00
Replacement card: $3.00
Non-Resident Charges
A non-resident is an applicant that does not maintain a
permanent, legal residency in Pennsville Township. First
payment is cash only. Renewals may be done by
check.

Card Use
First applicants are limited to two books during the
first two weeks, after which the applicant receives full
privileges, including media, periodicals, inter-library
loans (ILLs) as listed in the Collection Borrowing
Policy.
Library card is for applicant's use
only. Second ID may be requested.
Exception: parents/legal guardian for minors. Minor
privilege policies apply.
